Townhouse and detached units

1.  Rubbish Collection Schedule
     A.    All rubbish will be picked up every                    Friday and must be curbside by
             7:00 a.m.

      B.    Do not put trash at curbside any                        earlier
             than 6:00 p.m. on the evening before
             the scheduled pick up.
      C.   Certain Holidays rubbish will be
             delayed by one day. (See Holiday                               Schedule)

2.  Limitations
     A.    Barrels are not to exceed 32 gallon
             capacity or weigh more than 80                        pounds 
when filled.
      B.    Plastic bags must be secured and 
              should not be filled beyond their 
              intended capacity. Black bags are 
              recommended because animals do
              not rip into them as readily.


3.  Items that are NOT to be discarded
     A.    Tires.
      B.    Batteries (auto, truck, motorcycle)
      C.    Liquid substances.
              1.     Oil, grease.
              2.     Paint
              3.     Any household chemical, i.e.,    
                      bleach, ammonia, insecticides, 
                      cleaners.
      D.    Automobile catalytic converters.
      E.     Major appliances, i.e., stoves,
               refrigerators, etc.
      F.     Hot water heaters and furnaces.
      G.    Any radioactive, volatile highly
              flammable explosive, toxic, or 
              hazardous materials.


Midrises

1.  All household trash must be bagged in
     plastic prior to being put down the trash
     chute at the end of the hallway on each
     floor.  (Specific trash regulations are posted in
     the trash chute room on each floor.)


2.  Boxes must be broken down and taken
     down
to the garage and put into the
    
dumpster directly – do not put boxes down
     the trash chute.

3.  Items too large for the dumpster are the
     responsibility of the resident and must be
     taken to the city landfill on West Hollis
    
Street.  Large items are not to be left in the
     dumpster room.
